The recently formed branch of the Trade Unionist & Socialist Coalition will be standing candidates in this year's local elections in Rugby. Candidates selected so far, who will be on the ballot paper as Trade Unionists and Socialists Against Cuts, include;

Eastlands Bert Harris (Former Secretary of Rugby Anti-Poll Tax Union)
Great news - at last Rugby voters will have a real alternative to the parties that cut services. Hope the May elections go well :-)

ReplyDeleteAll 9 Rugby Green Party candidates have also signed up to Rugby Against The Cuts anti cuts pledge - the anti cuts message in on the agenda in all 16 seats in May - well looking forward to the campaign.
ReplyDeleteRugby TUSC are standing as part of Rugby Against The Cuts giving every voter a chance to vote for an anti-cuts candidate. All 16 seats now have candidates which is excellent news!
